1963 Aston Martin DB5 by Kyosho

1963 Aston Martin DB5.
British Sports Car Collection 2 by Kyosho, 2009.



 This beauty was produced from 1963 to 1965, at only 1023 copies.



  


 DB is for David Brown,
the English entrepreneur who took over the company in 1947,
and relaunched the brand.


 The design was made by the Italian coachbuilder




  

 The DB5 gained fame in 1964,
with a version full of gadgets in the series of James Bond movies.

 With a Ford Thames Trader Tanker - Cleveland Motor Spirit
by Vanguards.


And also with a 1952 Volkswagen Type 1 Split Window Beetle,
Club V-Dub Series 1 by GreenLight.

    1. You're damn right for the Isetta !
      Presently, eBay is my only chance to find any Kyoshos (thank you Japan Booster ^^).
      By chance, we will have soon some Kyoshos in France, under Solido licence, an old French diecast brand from the 30's, specialized on 1/43 !!!

  2. That's really good news. No such luck on Kyoshos in the U.S., but there are plenty of Mattel cars(hot wheels, matchbox), Greenlight, M2, etc. All the Japanese stuff, I get from AmiAmi, Japan Booster, and sometimes from Playmoya, or Amazon. I am looking forward to your future posts! :)
